If you’d like to sell a pen (or a pen related item that would interest the fountain pen community), simply use the form below to submit your information and your photo(s). We will post the information you provide to our @virtualpenshow Instagram account. Interested parties will contact you directly.
VPS is run manually and the cost of hosting and our time in commitment to this service adds up. A fee of $3USD applies for each submission from an individual. A fee of $15USD applies for each submission from a maker/company/business. These fees help us out by covering hosting costs and supplying a cup of coffee every now and then while we moderate the account. More importantly, fees help ensure buyers and sellers are serious and committed in an effort to weed out spammers or scammers.
Photos / Images – Very Important
The images you submit must be:
- Well lit.
- In focus.
- SQUARE (1080 by 1080)
- No larger than 2MB in file size.
Submit only photos that you have taken of the actual item being offered for sale – no stock images or screenshots.
NOTE: If your images do not meet the above criteria, your item will not be posted to Instagram.
Please note that you must have an Instagram account in order to have your item(s) posted to the Virtual Pen Show. Additionally, your Instagram Username will appear in the text of your ad so that potential buyers can contact you directly.
Text for your Ad
The “Text for Your Ad” field will be used as the caption for the Instagram post featuring the item you wish to sell. The text will be used exactly as entered. No editing will be done. Be sure to proof-read your text to be sure it:
a) Makes a bit of sense.
b) Includes pricing information.
c) Includes contact information.
We reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason at our sole discretion.
